History
The origins of Okrug Gornji date back to the early 15th century, when it welcomed the Church of Saint Theodore. The village developed around its fishing port. With vacation homes and hotels recently built along the waterfront, it now forms a suburban area of Trogir, connected by a bridge.

Rafting Down the Cetina River
Experience thrilling adventure descending the Cetina River by rafting! Accessible to all, this excursion alternates calm waters with level II and III rapids, ensuring the perfect balance between adrenaline and relaxation.
For approximately three hours, you'll traverse wild landscapes and navigate iconic rapids such as Z and Javornica. Don't miss the passage through the Studence waterfall, a true natural gem.

Zip-lining Over the Cetina Canyon
Also treat yourself to an adrenaline rush soaring over the Cetina River canyon on a zip-line! Suspended from a steel cable, you'll traverse vertiginous landscapes at speeds reaching 65 km/h.
The experience begins with an orientation led by professional guides, who will provide all necessary equipment. Then comes the adventure—eight lines totaling more than 2 km of descent.

Conquering Mount Kozjak
Set out to conquer Mount Kozjak. Its off-road trails will lead you to viewpoints revealing spectacular panoramas of Kaštela Bay and surrounding islands.

From Trogir
Okrug Gornji is accessible by bus (line 44) and taxi from Trogir. Water taxis are also available, departing hourly and dropping passengers at Copacabana Beach. Journey fare is approximately 2 euros.
From Split
The distance between Split and Okrug Gornji is about 31.4 km (32 minutes by car). By bus, take line 37 to Trogir first, then line 44.
