Upon arrival at Split airport, pick up your rental vehicle. Head to Murter, a picturesque island on the Dalmatian coast, accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland. This route will reveal exceptional panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding islands, alternating between rocky coastlines and verdant hills.
As you approach Murter, you will cross the bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Once you arrive, let yourself be charmed by peaceful beaches, secluded coves and authentic villages of Betina and Murter, ideal for a relaxing pause by the water.

Around Murter: Between Nature, Sea and Activities
During your day in Murter, enjoy the island's beaches, such as Slanica beach, ideal for families and swimming, or Luke beach, quieter and surrounded by nature.

Discovering Mostar: Bridges, Culture and Traditions
After leaving Jajce, head to Mostar, stopping in Travnik, a historic town with a rich heritage.
A former capital of Ottoman Bosnia, Travnik enchants visitors with its well-preserved fortress and old bazaar. Stroll through its picturesque streets and discover its iconic mosques, including the Sulejmanija Mosque, as well as its numerous crystal-clear water springs.
Don't miss visiting the Travnik Museum to learn more about the fascinating history of the region before continuing your journey.
As you continue your route, you will reach the Neretva River, a perfect spot for a memorable photo stop.

Passport
Nationals of the European Economic Area may enter Croatia with a valid passport or national identity card. The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Swiss and Canadian nationals must hold a valid passport. It is recommended that it be valid for at least three months after your planned departure date and contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays in Croatia.
Croatia has been part of the Schengen area since January 1, 2023. Stays by Canadian and Swiss nationals are subject to the Schengen rule, namely a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period throughout the entire Schengen area. EEA nationals are not subject to this limitation.
Authorities may request:
an exit document (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay.
Registration with local authorities
Any traveler staying in Croatia must register with the local authorities within 24 hours of arrival. In practice, this is usually handled directly by your accommodation provider (hotel, rental agency, etc.).
In the case of accommodation with a private individual, it is the responsibility of the host or the traveler to complete this registration, particularly through the eVisitor online system established by the Croatian authorities.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport or identity card covering the duration of the stay.
In some European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to exit the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Affected travelers should inquire with the Croatian embassy or consulate in their country of residence.
